flam3 is just a diffrent rendering engine. You really don't need it. Apop has its own render engine.

when I installed it also after it rendered nothing appeared in the png file

Weird i never set my options to use it but it is set to flam3-render.exe. I must have set this up in a fog or something.

In the options make sure you have Display>PNG Transparency enabled
IN the Options> Paths set Export Render to flam3-render.exe

I think you need to download the new ver of Flam3 thought to get it to work right.
I guess i am using ver 3.2.6

THe rendering works great for me with these settings.

Im rendering something right now, its working fine so far.

And oh my gosh, 2.4 Is so much better then 2.2!! Its amazing. Im might try 2.5.

I have no flam3-render.exe in fact i have no executable files with flam3 .. hmm

I did, i dled off site it gave me on the export flame page

Sorry for double posting again but does render to disk work? i'm trying that right now.

Yah that is what i always use. THe gear looking thing on the tool bar.

You must have been trying the export flame. If so i have never gotten export to work right. Not since 2.02 any way.
