I see there has been some movement int he GFX worm thread.

Thank you Istarlome for submitting the first panel. The worm now has its start.
If you have been following the thread you may notice that i have removed all the other posts. Why you may ask well it is stated in the top thread it is for submission and signing up.

Do not post there unless you intend to make a submission. I am currently reviewing

So now that Istarlome has started the worm will any one take up the challenge of adding another segment to it??

If you would like to look at the small little wormy click HERE!!

the more you submit the larger our worm will get... So lets see some entries.

Hello Domers.

Recently i have received a few PM's pointing out some rather disturbing ads that are popping up.

Please understand the dome has little control over the ads that get displayed. I nor does the dome support the content of these ads. I will do every thing i can to remove them from being displayed. There are a few options in the Adsence account setting that i can enable to filter this content out. Up until a month or two ago this was not a problem or it was not being caught.

The dome uses Google Adsence as our ad server. The Dome relies on the ads for funding so we can keep the community running. I know we all hate ads and I have tried my hardest to make them as least obtrusive as i can, but they are needed to pay for our server space. Through the use of the ads we can remain free to the public at large.

What is troubling is we consider the dome a family friendly place. Some of the ads that have been popping up in the last few months have been non-family friendly. After the second batch showed up i contacted Google and started researching on how to filter them out of the rotation.

Now i need the help of the community. In order to filter the ad out i will need a URL of the ad. Most of the ads have a URL printed on them. Before we go any feather DO NOT CLICK THE AD to get the URL. That would be a direct violation of Google Adsence policy and the result would not be in the favor of the Dome.

If you see an ad that is offensive please take a screen shot of the ad and PM me with a link to the screen shot.

At that time i will upload the screen shot to the domes server so it does not take up space on your account. I will that go about filtering the ad out of those that may be displayed on the dome. I will reply with a PM that i have uploaded the image so you can remove it.

At this time this is the best fix i have for the problem. If the filtering does not work than I will be forced to remove the ads and either find a different ad servering company or some other way of paying the bills.

I am also open to suggestions for generate revenue to keep us open with out using the ads. Please thought if you do make a suggestions understand the dome does not have a huge budget (lol what budget!!). This does not mean thought that the income to fund a venture could not be gained. It just means try to be realistic.
